Since 01.01.2003 the new EN 1949 and the EN 12864 are valid. Therefore only pressure regulators of the new standard with 30 mbar may be used for new vehicles and newly registered vehicles. New approvals may only be equipped with an operating pressure of 30 mbar. The operating pressure will be changed to 30 mbar in the course of EC harmonisation. This means: 30 mbar for new vehicles, 30 mbar or 50 mbar for vehicles older than 01.01.2003.
Tip To calculate the suitable pressure regulator: According to the standard, the flow rate of the regulator must be so high that the flow rate of the regulator is greater than the consumption when all consumers are operating simultaneously. Example: 4-flame cooker->465 g/h + heating C6002->500 g/h + refrigerator 165 l->35 g/h + oven->175 g/h = total consumption 1175 g/h
